APEX Design, Inc. is currently looking for several experienced part-time and eventual full-time positions to support the growth of our business.

Programmer
The experienced candidate will be familiar with Fanuc G-Code / M-Code, multi-axis CNC Swiss programming with a machine set-up background. Candidates should have knowledge of tooling selection, the Fanuc 18iT dual path controller for overlapping spindle programming performance, PartMaker Cad/Cam operating software and optimization of cycle times for complex turn-mill components. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of other software systems such as Pro-E, Job Boss, CATIA, Unigraphics, Solid Works and other collaborative management control systems.

Machinist / Machine Operator
The experienced candidate will be familiar with multi-axis CNC Swiss equipment (Tsugami, Hardinge, Star, etc.) and super precision machining (.0002"-.0006" tolerances)of diverse aerospace alloys for the military and medical markets. The ability to read detailed drawings, programs and Cad/Cam files is also required. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of CNC production optimization techniques, military component manufacturing, Hardinge machine tools and tooling selections. “Work in process” quality assurance including SPC experience is also required.

Accounting / Office Support
The experienced candidate will be familiar with the manufacturing environment and possess a detailed working knowledge of QuickBooks Pro and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). The ideal candidate should be experienced with payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The position will also manage and support communications, packaging, shipping/receiving and various inventory control systems.

Maintenance / Facilities Management
The experienced candidate will be familiar with CNC machine tool maintenance, repairs and service. Responsibilities will include materials handling, scrap materials documentation and recycling, building security and vendor management. The ideal candidate will be a student of LEAN manufacturing, Kaizen principles and military production. Knowledge of NISP DoD 5220.22-M security protocol is a plus.
