By working with our qualified partners, APEX Design, Inc. provides turn-key finishing of machined components to various military and commercial specifications.

Heat Treating
Vendors are NADCAP certified and approved by prime contractors for GE Aircraft Engines, Pratt & Whitney, Parker Hannefin, Boeing and Lockheed Martin aerospace components.

Finishing
Various vendors provide anodizing, CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating), electroless nickel plating, black oxide, passivation and cadmium plating. Qualified vendors have certified processes for the Small Arms manufactures such as Colt, HK, FN Herstel, Remington and Beretta.

Shot Peening
We are associated with an experienced and professional shot peening operation which can improve the high cycle fatigue performance of manufactured parts by 100% through cold working metal parts.

Non-Destructive Testing:
Vendors are NADCAP certified with qualified NDT personnel in accordance with Mil-Std-410. Prime contractor approvals include Boeing, Bell Helicopter, GE Aircraft Engines, Northrup Grumman, Talley Defense Systems and Goodrich Landing Gear.
