Swiss-Type CNC
What is CNC Swiss-type machining? Swiss-type, multi-axis turning centers are one of the most accurate methods of bar stock machining. Combined with a collet and guide bushing support system, sub-spindle, cross-working live tooling and a magazine bar feeder, Swiss-type turning offers superior cycle times, complex geometric machining and single setup part completion. Typical machined parts can have extreme length to diameter ratios, accurate tolerances and superior surface finishes. Properly equipped CNC machines eliminate secondary milling machine operations.
